"The Odyssey" Mini-Research Project

What's crackin' Kraken?
You will be given several topics to choose from, after researching a god, goddess, mythological creature, or Greek hero. 
Your job is read about the character you have selected and write a two-page report (double-spaced) discussing your character's origin, qualities, abilities, accomplishments, flaws, etc. Be sure to document your source material in MLA format. You will also draw a picture of your character onto a poster summarizing the important details about your character. You will present your findings to the class.
(You may been create a power point presentation or make a three-dimensional display of some kind of your character and your speech to aid you in your class presentation.)

The Process
You can use any of the websites below to help you research your character. YOU MAY NOT USE WIKIPEDIA!!!!
From the research you collect about your selected Odyssey topic, prepare an outline for your presentation.


Be sure you have answered the following questions through the course of your research:
  • Where does the character come from?
  • What are their superhuman qualities, talents, abilities (if there are any)?
  • What are their personality quirks or flaws?
  • Who influences them or directs their activities?
  • What is the moral of the story or the lesson that is being communicated?
